YouTube Copilot (youtubecopilot.com) is a YouTube channel intelligence tool that analyzes publicly available channel data. We are committed to collecting as little personal data as possible. This policy explains exactly what we collect and why.

IP Address (rate limiting only)

When you make an API request, your IP address is temporarily stored in our Redis cache to enforce rate limiting (10 requests per IP per 60-second window). This data automatically expires after 60 seconds. We do not log, store, or share IP addresses beyond this short-lived rate-limiting purpose.

YouTube Channel URLs

Channel URLs you submit are used to fetch and analyze publicly available YouTube data. Analysis results are cached for up to 6 hours to improve performance, then automatically deleted. We do not permanently store the URLs you check.

• No user accounts, emails, or passwords
• No payment information (Phase 1 — free tier only)
• No personal demographic data
• No YouTube login credentials or private channel data
• No tracking cookies

We store a single value in your browser's localStorage: your selected theme preference (youtubecopilot-theme). This never leaves your browser and is not transmitted to our servers. You can clear it at any time via your browser settings.

Google AdSense

When enabled, Google AdSense may display ads on this site. Google uses cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.

Plausible Analytics

We may use Plausible Analytics for privacy-friendly, cookie-free website analytics. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and is fully GDPR-compliant. See Plausible's data policy.

Cloudflare

Our site is served through Cloudflare's CDN and security network. Cloudflare may set limited cookies (such as __cf_bz) for bot protection. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

YouTube Copilot fetches publicly visible YouTube channel and video pages from our servers — the same data any visitor sees in their browser. We do not access private YouTube Studio analytics, creator dashboards, or any data that requires authentication. We are not affiliated with YouTube or Google.

• Rate limit keys: auto-expire after 60 seconds
• Analysis cache: auto-expire after 6 hours
• Permanent storage: none in Phase 1

YouTube Copilot is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
